It would appear that we are going to be hit with the remnants of Hurricane Nate on Monday but it should then clear nicely for the ride on Tuesday.
Unless anyone has a better plan, how about the 50 km (or less) Lakes, Big and Small ride from the Keeler Centre in Colborne? Barb and John attempted to do this one in the spring – we all met, but then headed back home with our bikes still in /on our vehicles when the rain came! This is a good route as it starts out flat before heading north in to the hills (or not!).
The Golden Rooster is closed or was the last we heard. Don’t think anyone is fond of Vito’s but it is an option or we could head back into Cobourg to Frank’s or somewhere else.

I will bring a few b/w maps but print your own if you need a more colourful one! Tuesday October 24th is still in need of a generous host. Don’t be shy 🙂

Richard says, he’ll ride up to and around Presqu’ile Park, hopefully meeting up with the Lighthouse Keepers Daughter 😉 then back to Colborne. I’ll be home recuperating from a v busy weekend!
Richard and I will organize the October 24th ride!

I won’t be doing any more club rides this season…unfortunately😕…maybe the final ride if I get the OK after my second cataract surgery.

Grrrrrrrrreat ride yesterday. Brian H, Jennifer, John, me and Richard. We started out without Richard but met him after he scaled the scaffolding at the lighthouse and was resting from the ordeal. Brian added some dipsy-doodles to the route out from Colborne that were wonderful. Mid October and still in shorts and sunshine. Life is good! Thank you Brian.
