Riding from Port Hope – Friday, July 23

Pete and Ruth are hosting Friday’s ride, starting from the Port Hope Town Hall parking lot at 5:00 pm.

We’ll follow the Racetrack Ramble route, which is 46 km but can be shortened at a couple spots along the way. We’ll aim to double check the route for gravel sections and either adapt it or propose an alternative route.

A picnic will follow – either bring your own or consider supporting a local business!

  2. Sorry to miss this one P& R and Tuesday’s……off to Ottawa this Friday. Enjoy!
    Immensely enjoyable ride today at Pres’quile…..even had a swim as one of the Jennifer’s had to uphold the tradition!! You both look so different with short hair lol!

  3. I shall be there! Are you planning on following the lakeshore out of PH and then pushing the bikes over the train tracks? If so, I will do a little trail pruning on Friday morning.
    Is that Lake Mead in the background in the picture?

    1. Good eye Brian – that is indeed the vanishing Lake Mead in the background.

      I was planning to leave town as per the map ie, Ward Street to Hamilton etc. However always open to suggestions.

      Completed the pre-ride this morning. No issues. Just a short stretch of gravel on race track rd.
