Riding from Cobourg – Tuesday, October 27

Your Tuesday Ride Coordinator, Marshall, invites you out for our last Tuesday ride of the season. His invitation is below.

Jen P will be leading the last official GFW club ride for the 2020 season this Tuesday, Oct 27th starting at 10:00 AM from her home, followed by our after ride picnic in her backyard.

Jen and TJ are busy drawing up a new route called “The Eddystone Loop” which will include many of our favourite roads, Pipeline, Eddystone, King and Shelter Valley to name a few. Maps will be provided.

It’s been a very different riding season this year with its late start and social distancing rules dictated by that very pesty COVID-19 virus, but there is also no doubt that it’s been one of the most successful and fun seasons our club has had in a long while. So sad to see it end. Lets end it with a big turnout “

Wouldn’t miss it! And any Freewheelers out there who want to join us in Jen’s BIG yard afterwards, there is enough room to socially distance, visit, munch on your own picnic lunch and wind up this strange but Fitness, Friends and Food season it would be wonderful to see you.

I am in the Woodland parking lot, about to start my ride. My car thermometer is read 0 C, and it is snowing! Perfect weather for mountain biking 😊🚴🏻‍♀️😊 I hope you hardy souls didn’t get caught in the snow.

Jennifer- a Tuesday hike from your place sounds like a great idea 😊

Sorry 😐 I won’t make it either. Andy still awaiting his hanger which is on order. Enjoy your ride you hardy souls. Happy to lead a hike sometime thru’ my neighbours 3 properties which I do daily. Just a short 1 1/4 hour if anyone interested sometime or we could lengthen it by going into the Ganny for an extra loop but there is a charge to that.
