Beware all ye elitist lycra wearing cyclists out there…the OPP may be watching from on high!

I hope to ride, regardless…

Andy & I hope to ride. Interesting article Klaus……& probably true to some extent in Northumberland as well. Certainly we have all noticed some ill feeling out there towards us occasionally. I, for one, need to remember to indicate when slowing down etc. so mishaps less likely to occur.

Richard and I will be there to ride and dine 🙂

We will both be there – Jac to dine, Bri to ride (very short – the ride, not me) & dine.
BTW – regardless of the reaming out I had from a pickup driver for not stopping at intersection of Lakeshore/Station rds, we could do more to consider other road users. Generally, we are fortunate to be treated well in our area, judging by reports we hear of others.

Rain or shine, Bess if looking forward to having us at her country estate this evening. I plan to head out that way at 5:30 PM regardless; however, the length of my ride will likely be determined by the meteorological conditions 🙂

I will bring along a few b+w maps; however, be sure to bring your own if you desire a coloured version! The route is Bess’ Ride (on the Website under Osaca).

M and Pretty M are coming, but the Go bus broke down so we will be late. We will chase down the group if not too late.

Thank you, Bess, for hosting your fellow Freewheelers last night. It was a wonderful evening! Fortunately the weather cooperated and it was great for riding through the Port Hope hills and dales.
This now ends my stint as Friday Ride Coordinator for 2018 and I would like to thank everyone for making my job so easy. There have been 18 scheduled rides thus far and all but one of them was hosted by a Club member. Peter now takes over this awesome responsibility and I encourage you to make his job as easy as you have made mine.
