Parking is at the small conservation area on the east side of the Trent River called the Glen Miller Conservation Area, just south of Johnstown Road by the bridge.  You can take Glen Miller Road off the 401 and head north.  The CA is on your left just before the bridge.  There is also a big church parking lot on the west side of the river at Johnstown Road near the bridge if the CA area is full.

We will have lunch at the Riverbrake Café, 11 Front Street, Trenton K8V 4N3.  Yes, they are licensed.  I will have the maps to hand out – thanks to Barry and Lilianne for this route as it is one of theirs from years ago.

Ride Calendar Update

Good job GF members! You’ve claimed all the open ride dates in October.

Looks like last Tuesday’s ride had a small but enthusiastic turnout! Said one ride groupie in the Comments: Grrrrrrrrreat ride yesterday. Brian H, Jennifer, John, me and Richard. We started out without Richard but met him after he scaled the scaffolding at the lighthouse and was resting from the ordeal. Brian added some dipsy-doodles to the route out from Colborne that were wonderful. Mid October and still in shorts and sunshine. Life is good! Thank you Brian.
