Riding from Haydon – Tuesday, October 20

Gail will be leading this Tuesday’s ride. She invites you to join her at 10:00 at her home (address can be found on the club website) for a beautiful fall ride from Haydon.

Loads of room in her yard for our social distancing after-ride lunch with a firepit and a cozy barn available if the weather warrants it. Also as an added bonus, all you need is a mask if the indoor facilities are required.

Route: to pdf map attached (60 kms with loads of opportunities to shortcut) and link below to GPS route (60km/413 m).

  1. Paul Buttimor says:

Looking forward to seeing your place. Do we get to “muck out “ the horse stalls?

    • BrianH says:

That’s good to hear as I didn’t ride much at all during my recent travels. I should have someone to ride with on Tuesday 😀🚴‍♂️😀

  4. Barbara Spencer says:

    John and Barb are coming!

  5. Marshall says:

Marshall is planning to be there. Forecast currently showing our riding window on Tuesday as pretty well the only dry hours in the next few days. Fingers crossed it remains that way.

  6. Sue says:

    I will be there, Gail.

  7. Peter says:

Ruth and I will be there.

  8. Gail Lupton says:

  9. Gail Lupton says:

Thanks Brian, i did have a flat tire ( nail in my tire) car that is not bike
No, i did not get the flames going!!

    • BrianH says:

I was concerned that you might not have noticed and driven off with the tire the way it was. I guess you wouldn’t have got very far.
The colours at Long Sault were awesome, and only 10-min from your lovely home. Mind you, the trees on your property were amazing also.
Thanks again for the wonderful ride. Sue, Jennifer and I had a great ride home. 46 km was quite far enough for me today considering this was my first road ride in 2+ weeks.

  10. Peter says:

Thanks Gail for a great ride and the tour of your wonderful barn.

  11. bradyperkin says:

Lovely to get back on the saddle with you all. Thanks so much Gail it was a lovely route even the shortened version…
