Cycling from Minden – Saturday, October 5

From the Haliburton Sculpture Forest

Sue is hosting Saturday’s ride starting from the Minden Rotary Park starting at 10:30.

The Minden to Haliburton ride will be about 62 k. Option for a shorter 52 k route is available. Or a longer 82 k route. We can take a look at the Haliburton Sculpture Forest and have lunch at the Baked and Battered restaurant in Haliburton.

Here’s the Ride with GPS link. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/16929177

You can also download and print the cuesheet and map.

There are some hills, nothing too bad. Parking will be at the Minden Rotary Park which is just off 35 Hwy to the left as you are heading north. It is just past the Kawartha Dairy Outlet. Hopefully the colours will be beautiful at this time. Weather forecast looks promising!

  1. Sue Pott says:

Looking forward to seeing you there! It’s a beautiful ride, (or drive if you don’t want to ride😀).

  2. Barbara Spencer says:

I’m going but John can’t so I can take one or two with me.

  3. Klaus says:

    I won’t be riding…sorry.

  4. Sue Pott says:

Here is the Ride with GPS map link for the 62k ride. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28586282?privacy_code=NN5BJpBJ03KIuRyd

We will hope to eat at Baked and Battered in Haliburton. Not sure if they take reservations.

  5. Irene says:

Richard and I will be cycling, however we haven’t decided upon our route yet.

  6. irene says:

We’ve decided upon the boring 35 km Ingoldsby to Haliburton and back. This way we’ve time to explore around, check out the Haliburton Rail Trail and go shoe shopping in Bobcaygeon 😉 We’ll meet up in Minden first and lunch.

  7. Peter says:

    Ruth and I are going.

  8. Michel says:

Was a great ride. Should put it on your calendars for next year. : – )
