Willy and Sue are hosting Saturday’s ride starting from the Minden Rotary Park starting at 10:30.
The Minden to Haliburton ride will be about 62 k. Option for a shorter 52 k route is available. Or a longer 82 k route. We can take a look at the Haliburton Sculpture Forest and have lunch at a restaurant in Haliburton.
There are some hills, nothing too bad. Parking will be at the Minden Rotary Park which is just off 35 Hwy to the left as you are heading north. It is just past the Kawartha Dairy Outlet. Hopefully the colours will still be beautiful at this time.

I’m just wondering about the ride being on Sunday instead of Saturday. Would it affect anyone’s decision to ride or not ride? Sunday now shows sun instead of rain and it is warmer by 3 or 4 degrees. Let me know.

Sorry Sue, our enthusiasm for the ride in Haliburton this coming weekend has taken a dip …. mainly because it looks like being a tad on the cool side of warm and also because we’d hoped to be in better physical condition ….. too much wine and not enough cycling!! Hopefully the Haliburton ride will be on the GFW calendar for next year?
