Riding from Lindsay – Tuesday, July 27

Paul is our host for this Tuesday’s ride starting from Lindsay and travelling South past the Buddhist Temple near Bethany.

Here are instructions to the starting point:

Drive north on Hwy.#35. Continue north past Hwy.#7 into Lindsay. The road becomes Lindsay St. South (#15). Go past Kent St. and over the bridge (canal) and turn right on King St. Go one block and you will see a small park on your left. Park on the street.

Download and print the map that shows the 50-kilometre route.

Bring your picnic stuff! Hope to see you there.

  1. Paul, looks like a great route – some new roads and bike paths plus a Buddhist Temple, what more could we ask for! See you there.

  2. Looks like a great route Paul! Richard and I plan to be there so long as POP is less than 40%. Weird weather, seems like I’m checking the weather forecast 10 x per day!

  3. As of 6 PM Monday, both Environment Canada and the Weather Network are forecasting a 60 – 70 % chance of showers during our riding window on Tuesday. Lindsay is a long way to drive from Port Hope / Cobourg for a ride that is ultimately cancelled. Unless the situation changes……..

  4. Paul, Marshall and I have decided to cancel the ride for tomorrow because it looks definitely like rain. Paul is temporarily without internet so I am posting for him. He will do the ride next Tuesday instead, same route.
Have fun with your alternate rainy day Tuesday plans.

    1. Probably a wise decision, Sue. A long way to drive for “iffy”weather. Next Tuesday it is 😀🚴‍♂️😀

  5. Thanks Sue for the quick decision. Rain and coffee tomorrow. We will be in Eganville next week, but on the bikes none the less.
