Annual General Meeting 2017
Hold the date for this year’s Annual General Meeting.
Date: November 18, 2017
Time: 5:00 pm
Location: Sue’s place outside Orono (see directions and parking details on Calendar)
Sue has organized with her favorite local restaurant to cater the evening, saving us all from the task of preparing a contribution. That said, bring along your $10 contribution to cover the catering costs.
We’ll update you closer to the day with details regarding an outdoor activity before the AGM (likely from 2-5) once we know the weather forecast. And be ready for an exciting game that we’ll play to test your knowledge of our beloved cycling scene.
Volunteers Needed for 2018 Cycling Season!
Turney is stepping down from her Treasurer role. Doug and Sue, our Friday Ride Coordinators are also moving on. Doug is stepping down, while Sue will support Marshall with the Tuesday rides. Thank you, Turney and Doug for your many years of faithful service.
This leaves our club with the Treasurer vacancy on our Executive team and two vacancies for the Friday Ride Coordinator role. The Treasurer deposits membership revenues, pays our expenses, keeps the accounting records and produces our annual statement. The Ride Coordinators coordinate ride host requests throughout the riding season from April to the end of October. Our volunteers attend a few meetings annually.

Finally, the deadline for our first annual photo contest is coming up soon! Visit the photo contest summary post for a reminder of photo submission details and get your entries to us by November 7. We’re excited to see your work showcased in our slideshow at the AGM.

I have a Magnotta wine glass, a blue glass, also one large serving spoon & a slotted spoon left at our house after the last ride. also we are missing one large serving spoon, plain with “Firth Stainless Steel” on the back, made in Sheffield, England.
