Riding from Rice Lake Conservation Area – Tuesday, August 11

Brian H. Is your host for Tuesday’s ride starting at 10:00 am. His invitation is below.

The ride will start and finish at the Rice Lake Conservation Area, 1.5 km east of Bewdley on the north side of Cavan Road. We have ridden past the (somewhat hidden) entrance on numerous occasions.

There is lots of shady grass for our “new normal” apres-ride social. There are no toilets, but there are lots of bushes and trees! Either bring your own lunch or pop into Bewdley for a take-out.

We will follow the Scenic Ride (52 km or les). The ride is relatively flat except for the optional Jamieson loop near the end 🙂

      1. The forecast is slowly improving from 60% down to 30 or 40. Might be better in the morning. Hoping. We can do Wednesday though if necessary.

  1. I can’t make tomorrow’s ride due to another commitment, but if it gets rain delayed to Wednesday I’ll see you there.

  2. There are showers in the forecast for today but Wednesday looks like being a glorious sunny day. So, just like last week, I think we should do our Tuesday ride on Wednesday! Same location, same time, same route, same smiling faces, but just one day later.
I checked out the conservation area yesterday, and everything looks good. There weren’t even any bugs, but you may wish to pack some spray in case today’s rain awakens them 😀
