Harold invites everyone to his place in Castleton on Saturday for a fun cycle cross event. Join us at 1:00 p.m. and see how many tours of the course you can do. Bring snacks!
Here is a description of the ride from Harold:
IT IS A LOOP AROUND MY HAY FIELD 4 – 6 Ft. IN WIDTH, SMOOTH MOWED GRASS, BUMPY, BUT NO STONES OR MUD. CAN BE WATCHED FOR MOST OF THE LOOP FROM THE HOUSE.IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE SOME COME (around 11 with an accurate odometer) TO GIVE ME A HAND TAKING MEASUREMENTS AND SETTING UP SIGNS. IT’S A FIRST FOR ME TOO!”‘
Please comment to let your fellow riders know you’ll be joining in the thanks-giving fun and to let Harold know if you’re able to arrive early with an odometer.
John and I will be there!

My plan is to arrive home later on Friday evening, so I will miss Katherine’s gig but should be there for Harold’s “fun and games”. Which of my many (but not as many as Harold has) bikes should I bring? What sort of terrain will we be navigating?

I totally agree with Barb. Harold, you worked so hard to make this unique event so successful. It is always such a pleasure to visi your very special country estate.
