Ride Reminder – Tuesday, June 27

This is a whistling duck!

Klaus is our host for this Tuesday’s ride that will follow the First Half Flat! route from Gosport. Choose from 56 or 44 kilometre routes.

Meet at the parking lot of the Whistling Duck (formerly Dougalls) at 75 Harbour Street. Lunch will follow there.

Use the comments to let your host know if you plan to join the ride so he can forewarn the restaurant of rough numbers.

    1. Not only that, but apparently Presqu’ile is open again so there may be an option to include that loop for those who wish…exactly what “authority” is it that you are referring to Brian???

  1. Glennis and I will not be riding. We are in Welland for a few days visiting my sister, brother-in-law is in the hospital. Klaus, hope you finally get this ride in. Have a good one.

  2. I have made a reservation at the Whistling Duck (http://www.whistlingduck.ca/) for 12:30/1:00. The new owner, Kelli, has no issues with us parking there for the start of the ride. Weather seems to be a question mark yet again but unless rain is imminent I plan to be there. I will confirm at 8:00.

  3. John and I plan to ride and lunch. Fingers crossed for this one or maybe we should just plan to ride, rain or not.

  4. I really miss all of you Freewheelers, but I am not going to take a chance on driving all that way in case of rain. 😦

  5. Radar is not looking promising but I’m willing to give it a go if others are so I will drive out and see what happens…Lolla’s is always an option if it’s really bad.

  6. Sorry to say, we decided not to ride and go to Lolla’s which was filled to the rafters so we split up and I drove back to Cobourg and I didn’t need my windshield wipers and the roads were practically dry!! Go figure!!
